Call for Tutorial Proposal
The organizing committee of the 7th International Conference on Information Assurance (IAS 2011) invites researchers and practitioners to submit proposals for tutorials in connection with IAS2011 to be held in Melaka Malaysia during the period from December 5th – December 8th 2011.
Tutorials focusing on core techniques, emerging research topics and practical applications are encouraged. Tutorials should aim to attract a wide audience. They should be broad enough to provide a gentle introduction to the chosen research area and they should highlight the current challenges. The ideal tutorial should also cover the most important contributions in sufficient depth and discuss future research directions. It might be noted that proposals that exclusively focus on the presenters' own work are not eligible.
Tutorial proposals are limited to 4 pages as an outline in addition to the biography of the presenter(s).
The proposal should contain
1- Tutorial Abstract briefly describing the details of the tutorial
2- Introduction
3- Outline of the tutorial topic
4- Intended Audience (identify the target audience and prerequisites)
5- Biography of the presenter(s)
6- Contact Information
Each tutorial will be evaluated based on the significance to the themes of the conference, originality of the tutorial as well as the scientific and technical content and interest.
