Call for Papers
Scope
This special session is dedicated to theories and applications of soft computing to mobility applications in urban cities. The session offers an opportunity to explore, dissect and examine how soft computing may help to solve different mobility problems in cities. In this way the optimization of resources and the implementation of novel strategies to use different transportation models and type of vehicles such as electric vehicles should allow the incorporation of artificial intelligent techniques.
Topics
Topics include, but are not limited to, applications of soft computing models to mobility problems, management of bicycles, electric vehicles, routes, green cars, vehicle positions, charge systems and other aspects related to mobility processing. The soft computing methods for mobility applications generally entail, but are not limited to, neural networks, fuzzy systems, multi-agent systems, evolutionary computing and swarm intelligence. Innovative ideas on nature-inspired metaheuristics and hybrid artificial intelligence techniques are also welcome.
Paper Submission
All papers are to be submitted electronically through the ISDA 2011 website. Authors should carefully follow the instructions given there. Submitted papers will be peer reviewed by at least two anonymous reviewers.
