Short Biography

Pietro Cipresso is Author of more than 100 scientific publications and books like "Modeling Emotions at the Edge of Chaos", "Computing Paradigms for Mental Health", "The Psychology of Social Networking" and "Virtual Reality: Technologies, Medical Applications and Challenges", and also Editor of international peer-reviewed scientific journals and books.

Pietro Cipresso graduated at Bocconi University of Milan in Economics, in Statistics and in Operational research. He received his Ph.D. in Communication and new technologies, and in Psychology, from IULM University of Milan, with an exchange at Harvard Medical School.

More, Pietro Cipresso has been a Visiting Researcher at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and is Principal Investigator or Co-Investigator of several International, European, and national Projects on Emotions, Psychometrics, Psychophysiology, Brain Computer Interface (BCI), Stress and Virtual Reality.
