Short Biography
Kamal Kant Hiran is working as an Associate Professor in the BlueCrest University College, West Africa and Research Fellow, Department of Electronic Systems in the Aalborg University, Denmark. He has 14 years of extensive teaching, research and administration experience in Asia, Europe and Africa’s Universities. His earlier appointment was at University of Gondar, Ethiopia. Earlier he worked at the Academic City College, Ghana, West Africa as a Head of IT department, Amity University Rajasthan (AUR) and Suresh Gyan Vihar University (SGVU) India.
He has a number of awards on his credit such as International travel grant for the Passau, Germany from
ITS, Gold Medal Award in M.Tech (ICT), The IEEE Ghana Section Award, IEEE Senior Member, IEEE
Student branch award and Best Research paper award from the University of Gondar, Ethiopia. He is
founder chair of the IEEE Ghana Student Branch, West Africa. He has published research papers in
refereed international journals and International conferences in India and abroad. His motive to improve
the higher education landscape through innovative research and teaching methodologies.
His current researches cover the areas of Cloud Computing, Technology adoption in the Higher
Education, Digital Image Processing and Software engineering. He is Life member of various professional
bodies like SMIEEE (USA), IET (UK), LMCSI (India), International Association of Engineers (IAENG),
Universal Association of Computer and Electronics Engineers (UACEE), IACSIT (Singapore). He is
Reviewer & member of Editorial Board team in various reputed International Journals like Elsevier
Journal of Systems Architecture, Springer Journal of Medical and Biological Engineering, IGI Global, IJSET,
IJTEE, IJSTR and IJERT. His book, "The Proliferation of Smart Devices on Mobile Cloud Computing", was
published by Lambert Academic Publishing, Germany in 2014. He has delivered keynote and invited
speeches in several international conferences (in India, Ghana, Ethiopia, Liberia, Jordan, Denmark and
Germany).

3. Founder of the IEEE Student branch STB16241 in the Academic City College, Ghana, West Africa.

4.     Received travel grant in the 28th European Conference on “Competition and regulation in the information age” of The International Telecommunications Society (ITS), 2017 at the University of Passau, Germany (30th July - 2ndAugust, 2017) for the presentation of the research paper.

5.  Selected for the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union on “Advanced Software Engineering Methods & tools” in the University of Jordan, Amman from 29/01/2017- 09/02/2017.

Organized the IEEE International Workshop on ‘IEEE Circuits and Systems Workshop on Introduction to Adaptive Filter Theory’ and news published in the IEEE Region 8 Newsletter (Vol 18, No 1, April 2015) front page.
