Emmanuel
ADETIBA obtained
a B.Eng. (Hons) degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Ilorin in
May 2002, a masters degree (M.Eng., Electrical and Information Engineering) in
July 2007 and a Ph.D (Information and Communications Engineering) in January
2014 at Covenant University, Ota, Nigeria. He is a member of several
professional bodies such as the Nigerian Society of Engineers (NSE), Institute
of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), IEEE Communications Society,
IEEE Computational Intelligence Society, IEEE Computer Society and IEEE
Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society (IEEE EMBS). He is a registered
engineer (R.Engr.) with the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in
Nigeria (COREN). He has received several national and international grants such
as the Rollar Cecilee Communications (RCC) Research Grant (2014), Nigeria Communications
Commission (NCC) Research Grant (2013), IEEE EMBS Travel Grant (2012),
Rockefeller/SAHIA Travel Grant (2010) and IMIA/HELINA Grant (2009). His
research interests include Biomedical Informatics, Machine Intelligence,
Genomics Signal Processing (GSP) and Wireless Communications. He is a Senior
Lecturer at the Department of Electrical and Information Engineering, Covenant
University, Ota, Ogun State, Nigeria. He is on a Post-Doctoral
Fellowship at the ICT & Society Research Group(ICTAS), Durban University of Technology, Durban, South Africa from 2014 to 2016. |
